The death is tragic, but the man had a spinal injury and was in a wheelchair and assumed the risk of the ride. There shouldn't even be a case.
Oh that's the update?

Yeah that's tragic but really flips the tables. It has nothing to do with stardust racers. That just happened to be the ride he was on when tragedy struck.

yep as shaming as it is, someone with a spinal injury should never be riding a coaster.

Though they also claim other people are coming forward with head injuries or headaches after riding.   But i've seen those all were seemingly checked out by universal and were a cause of a pre-existing conditions.

they want to keep the coaster closed until the lawsuit is done. Which could be months or years. It's a bit sad the family is using his death for a money grab.

woah, hadn't heard of that.  the description of the incident sounded pretty gruesome but i watched a POV of the coaster and it looks like a really tame coaster.   this year i've been to six flag great america and cedar point and can think of at least 6 coasters that are clearly more intense that stardust racers.   if stardust is "unsafe" then all rollar coasters are "unsafe".

I was teaching a class and I asked my students what the new iPhone was.  I honestly thought it was 14 cause I remember watching the presser for it with my students years ago (Where they showed off RE4).  To my surprise we're at 17 now O_O
