What the fudge is this? Reddit - Dive into anything

Some metajoke I'm not getting or did I just stumble into 100 thousand people that think you can literally travel to different realities by sleeping?
Some people think drugs can make you do so as well. So I won't be surprised if a lot of people think that

We don't have a fridge thread right?

My mom bought 2 filters for her GE fridge. I installed one for her and after a bit of debugging, I'm pretty sure these filters are scams. I looked "inside" both of them and neither has an RFID chip. The fridge can't sense the filter has been installed so it can't run water.

I forced water through anyway and the water was crystal clear. Real filters produce dark and mucky water when you first run them. So does this random website just take old filters and resell them as new? What the heck is up?

Not sure if this is necessarily true.

When I looked this up, everyone is like "sounds like you have a charcoal filter", which seems to imply there are other kinds that don't do this.

Where did you buy them from? What kind of filter are they?

It's only one specific filter made by GE, there isn't supposed to be any variation RPWFE | GEĀ® RPWFE REFRIGERATOR WATER FILTER  | GE Appliances Parts

Don't know which website my mom bought them from. The packaging and labeling all seem legit but when you peel this part back, it's just the plastic indent with no chip.

Have Covid for the second time.

It's been a long time since I remember feeling this sick.

Been in bed for most of the past several hours. Was trying to play on the switch, but that became too much. Even turning around in bed became too much at one point. Would feel like throwing up.

This is the best I've felt in like 4 hours.

Ouch. Glad you're starting to feel better.

I luckily still haven't had covid.

I got covid for my second (confirmed at least) time recently as well. Thankfully wasn't very sick, mainly a really runny nose for a few days and felt ill for maybe 1-2 days. My girlfriend was a bit more sick with cough and such. It's like a roulette how sick you'll get it seems.

Hope you're getting better!

Guys, I feel like I should tell you here since we're all sharing about ourselves and stuff.

I finally have finished my specialty training and can now call myself a specialist or a consultant in internal medicine. Just 13 years since I started my basic doctor training! Heh. It's a bit funny to think about that when I started on the Chertz I hadn't even started on my journey to become a doctor. It's been a long time but time truly flies!

Hot dang. Time does fly.

Congratulations though.

Past two days I've woke up thinking I have covid for sure (I'm feeling more and more sick and I'm helping take care of people with covid) yet I keep testing negative.

Maybe I have the flu, maybe it's just stress, or maybe I'm magic and covid tests don't work on me.  :P
