Quirks of foreign countries are fun imo. Everyone being standardized is lame.

It was based on millions.
1,000,000^1= million
1,000,000^2= billion (bi=2)
1,000,000^3=trillion (tri=3)
Etc.

But I like:
1,000,000 million, then the next triple makes it bi, and the next triple makes it tri.

While this is true, when talking numbers and currency this difference would cause lots of misunderstandings. Numbers should definitely be standardised. Words, though, definitely should stay different.
