About 10 years ago they sent out a probe in order to follow an asteroid which was flying in a regular orbit. Up until, say, a few months ago it was chasing the asteroid, then it turned into finding a landing site (it's an odd shape!), which then landed today. It's there to take photographs and collect samples.

That's the short of it.

do they have any idea what they might find? also, if its been in the same orbit for so long, how could it have extra solar materials?
