The only game I've ever boycott was Assassin's Creed Unity. I have every single game in the franchise. Wasn't really that interested in Unity, but I would have picked it up and had fun regardless. However with all the launch and pre-launch BS, I decided to boycott it.

HBU?

I like the concept of boycotting things and the like. Feels like putting morals and ideals ahead of personal satisfaction.

Can't think of one, most of the games that had the most battleship going on were games that I was not that interested in to begin with, so I don't think I've ever not bought a game out of principle.

Lots of games that I didn't buy because I probably wasn't going to like them, but an active boycott?  Never.
I look at games, and decide if that's something I'm interested in.
If no, then I don't buy it.
If yes, then if the price is right.

That's one thing, but boycotts can have silly reasons sometimes.

Define boycott in this situation.
Just not buying it? Or is there more?

Not buying it out of principle, not lack of desire or funds.

no. if i dont want to play a game i wont. if i want to play it i will.

BasilZero

Nope.

The only way I wont buy a game is if I am not interested such as Sports games. Now if I'm given them for free....I'll take it :)

I think boycotting games is stupid especially boycotting entire companies because of one game. Its like saying

"I HATE FFXIII I AM GONNA BOYCOTT DEM" - you just missed out on other games that they are publishing such as Tomb Raider, other FF games, KH, etc.

I didn't buy the last 2 games from infinity ward MW2 MW3
