My high school didn't have any AP Physics, we had Physics 1 and 2, which only ends up being like half the AP Physics B.  Everything I know about special and general relativity are things I learned on my own. 
The school only has 2 AP courses.  :P Calc AB and English.

My school had a single physics class that required you to be a senior. Two out of four years in high school, including my senior year, we didn't even have a physics class because "too few people signed up for it". I really felt that was battleship. The fewer students there are the more attention the teacher could give to them. It's not like they replaced it with something else.
