Like the game looked bad, but I didn't think it looked that bad.

it looked bad but it also suffers from the disappointment that is not a real fable.   ..and as we all know expectations of a game matter more than the game these days.

But think of the list wars!

you know the rules.  planet side 2 and deep down don't count because they are free to play but fable will because it's microsoft.

i kid i kid, fable legends just died in the eyes of gamers.  no one gives a fudge about free to play.

Yeah. It sounds like you can either play and earn the items or just buy them with real money. They're not even talking about cosmetic items. They're talking about actual gameplay-affecting items which is the very definition of "pay-to-win".

Looks like it's kinda pay to win too :(

ugh.. lol i know its PR but the way they say that..    They dont want to give unfair advantages to those who pay,  yet that is exactly what they are doing.  Legend shmoe who doesnt want to pay will have to grind hours just to be at the same level as that 11yo chicken nugget whose parents buys them a 50$ xbl card once a week lol

The sad part is that this game was dead to many people even before this announcement. The moment it became clear that Lionhead was once again not making a traditional Fable experience and turning it into what appeared to be a co-op dungeon-crawler style game was the moment the game lost confidence from the community.

Nah. Only the traditional Fable titles ever scored well and even the remaster of the original Fable wasn't well received. Fable Heroes and Fable: The Journey were both pretty much hated. People make fun of Killzone peaking early and now dropping but the Fable franchise has been a much worse story. It pretty much hit rock bottom.

RIP Fable.

Not the same series as it was years past :(
