So what did you guys think? The ending really reminded me of batman. Him standing on the building looking down on the city. Sorta becoming a vigilante with tesla being his weapon supplier. The next game (hopefully it gets there) can be great.

I'm on chapter 3 I think. The Cesar reference came while they were at the round table.

Also, I have a photo that I'll share later..  it show him standing in front of a mirror with no reflection . That's where the idea came from of being a vampire.

Thats exactly what I was talking about in the other thread. It's in the very beginning lol. I was going to go back and take a picture for the other thread but if you already have one that'd be great.

My biggest gripe with the story was the old English. I had to put on subtitles. It translates the French and what ever they were speaking at the end of the game.

Oh, and the BETTER make a sequel. If not then fudge Rad. They shouldn't have made a game without wrapping up the story if it was possible they wouldn't make a sequel

Yeah I was a bit annoyed that it didn't translate the other languages

I like that they did the vampires differently to the usual. How they transform into their vampire form instead of just having fangs.

Yeah, I can't stress this enough that the better make a sequel. There are obvious plot holes. Those being one of them. The old man and the indians being the others

Here's one thing that has been on my mind since watching the playthrough of this, I've seen several people complain about there not being an upgrade system for your weapons in place, the thing is, your weapons are developed by Tesla and financed by the Order, since RAD put a lot of emphasis on the universe making sense there was no logical way to really incorporate an upgrade system for your weapons in there.

With a potential sequel being set right after this one on the other hand there is a way to do something like this, your weapons are still developed by Tesla, but since he betrayed the Order to safe you it would be logical to assume that he is now cut off from their financial ties and is going to have a harder time to acquire the materials to make and perfect your arsenal. So in the second game they could aside from normal collectables also put in parts that can be used by Tesla to make and upgrade weapons.

The only things that would then still have to be figured out would be how to deal with the weapon pick up system (do picked up weapons carry the same upgrades you just acquired, do they abandon the weapon pick up system in favour of something similar to TLOU?).
And how you would access the upgrade system (simply through the menu or do you get access to Teslas lab at multiple times during the game?)

Just something I thought could be neat in a sequel and if the upgrade trees are deep enough (and maybe even branch out making certain upgrades disable other upgrades) this could also create some decent replay value.

What I didn't like was that there was zero vampire gameplay, I mean they just introduce a new supernatural enemy and you don't even fight them.

i cant stress this enough... THEY BETTER MAKE A SEQUEL! This game was developed for being the introduction to a franchise. As for weapon upgrades? I read that too. But honestly, how many games have that? Not every game that's for certain. And ones that don't get rated highly. Also weapon firepower definitely progresses fine. The shorty is unfairly powerful
