well true but the sales in the east will be 30 times bigger than what the xbox one will get in the east XD

direct costs and opportunity costs make wii u ports not really viable

Most of those games won't even be released on XB1 in Japan...it's purely for sales in the West.

It's a lot easier to downgrade the resolution and port to the Xbox One, vs rewriting the entire game to work on the Wii U, and in turn rewrite what they were working on for PS4 so that it's not two different games.

Easier to port a PS4 game to Xbox One than to a WiiU.

Possibly cheaper too.

Anyways, third parties still have that bad aftertaste on how Nintendo has been in the previous years - cant blame them.
