Should reviews count price when it is hardware?
No, at best it should be left as a foot note without affecting the actual score of the review.

No, since again price fluctuates.

I always judge purchases based on price, value, and related terms since I will be spending money on it...

And you should, but that's on you not the reviewer.

But with hardware like graphics cards price/performance is the main thing to judge it off of.

In standard reviews sure, but not in benchmarks. You look at how a bunch of different graphics cards compare in various tests, and then you decide if the increased performance of one is worth the increase in price. It's not like you just look at the reviews and say "this one has the most stars out of five, guess I'll get it." You still even with star reviews have to personally factor in price.

I agree software like game value should be left to the person to think of. I'm not sure I understand the last comment though. It counts in standard reviews but not in benchmark reviews? I could get behind that.  I agree that people should do research themselves to see if value works for them. People should research all major purchases they make.
All aboard the hype train.
