Why aren't there more games that support piracy?

Lol at the title. I LOVED Black Flag, its my favourite AC game. Unity took a huge step backwards unfortunately. More games involving pirates with a big focus on ship combat would be much appreciated. Black Flag did it extremely well.

no. we need a pirates of the Caribbean game. yeah it should have epic ship fights like AC4. but it should also have the lore, backstory and awesomness of the PotC universe. add that with impossible escapes like in the movies and epic sword fights, with interesting characters, betrayel, back stabbing, and pirates being pirates. you got yourself a game of the generation right there.

i'm always weary of games based on movie ip but if someone could do to potc what rocksteady did to batman i'd buy that. the best part of potc is there is enough magic to squeeze in some next gen gameplay.

i don't know about other people but i've never put a penny into a f2p game. i won't pay to unlock progression,  i quit games that are designed to be infuriating.
