The sale of SOE should help reduce the yearly losses in their gaming business. Losing $60 million on them last year was ridiculous. That could have been a big budget game a couple years from now that actually made them money. I also heard there was a negotiation between Canon and Sony regarding image sensors that could end up giving Sony nearly 60% of that market in a few years.

This is the equivalent of cockroaches scurrying away from noises. And with shipped numbers? Have these guys no shame?
thats just plain stupid. Both companies obfuscated the numbers so there is no way of knowing either. But when sony did it with the ps2 /ps3 those same people acted like the ps2 was shipping more YoY. Which makes no sense. Their reasoning was because sony said that the ps3 sales were down. Which left the ps2 with a hefty increase after being down For 4 consecutive quarters.

But but but financials must be real bad if they are delaying reports. They must not want people to see the numbers.

But bit but financials must be real bad if they are selling off gaming divisions

After looking at the claims I don't see much xbox undertracking at all. My initial thought was that 2.5m on shelves is probably a good amount. That means they are arguing about half a million. Has ps2s 15m undertracking been fixed yet?

Let's lay off the vgchartz user trashing. It's gotten out of hand these past few days.

Here's a good rule of thumb. If the post or thread you're linking has value on its own, then it's good. Ie the post has information or the post is funny because of how crazy it is. Any person including those that have never heard of vgchartz should find these links informative/funny.

What you shouldn't do is post vgchartz links that require a deep knowledge of the place in order to have any value. That's because these tend to be just trolling and insulting users. Ie a post by kowen saying he knows financials because he owns a business. No one cares about that comment unless they have kept up with kowen and his past posts. Or the thread linked to here. No one would care that a random user has pinned ps3 behind xbox. It's only interesting to you because you have a history with those posters. With these links only an active vgchartz reader would find them informative/funny.

So stick to only the first link. It's not that we have to be nice to vgchartz, lol we call them vgchertz, but honestly most people here have moved on from vgchartz and just don't care about them and these type of links. Were trying to be our own site, not just a vgchartz leach.

This applies to every site as well, not just vgchartz.
