I sure as hell am hyped because I played the previous games. But it's not too late for you, just try P3 or 4 and see if you like it, they are great games but really not for everybody, or just start the series with the 5th entry, the stories aren't connected even though they are always some throwbacks to the older games.

when does five come out?

i switched jobs so i stopped playing vita.  these are connected events because i used to play on my commutes but now i walk to work because it's 8 blocks away.  i'm (reluctantly) moving to the burbs in the next few months so i'll have a commute again.  maybe i'll try to fit in 4.  ..god knows that ain't much else to play on vita.

I'd love to be able to tell you that, but it hasn't been announced yet. I'm hoping for a summer release in Japan and that it somehow manages to still come to the US at the end of 2015.

Also I don't know how long you'll be commuting but if you plan to play the game only on your way to and from work you'll probably take a couple weeks to months to complete it.

that's a good thing especially when vita's release schedule is so lite.  honestly, i broke my vita on my last work trip and don't even care to replace it atm.  i'll only replace it after i move out of reluctance that iphone is an even worse platform.
