Well TLOU did it too, barring the higher difficulties. When the moment to counter opened up the Triangle button prompt appeared
not to mention the constant helpers in Arkham...

I was honestly thinking about Arkham a little after I posted that.  Though the helpers in Arkham Aslyum are off in hard and they can be turned off in Arkham City after a playthrough.  But the point remains, no one complained about those games.  Add a button instead of lighting and the internet goes ape shame.  Goes back to my comment about entitled dog holes.
