The Christianity one is a joke since it'd never happen and the backlash would destroy the game, but the alien one is legit.

Basically the greek gods were put in place by aliens way back in time in order to manage Earth for them. Now that kratos killed all their puppets, the aliens must return to earth and fix what kratos has destroyed. Would be so awesome.

I could see them using Roman mythology next. It's still thematically nearly identical to Greek, but they won't have to use the magic of handwavium to resurrect all the dead gods.
