Fairy Tail manga just ended... I would like to have seen Lucy find Aquarius before the end...  It was honestly the only thing missing from the ending.

Turns out the composer of Kill La Kill composed Attack on Titans.  No wonder its OST was so good.

AoT's OST is awesome.

I guess after I'm done with Korra I'll watch Kill La Kill

Also I finished The Last Airbender yesterday.

Really good series but Korra from the first two eps I've watched...dont look like I'll like it as much.

It suffers from the same fate that many sequel cartoons or successor cartoons suffer (i.e. Rugrats and "All Grown Up") - targeting teens and forcing modern social issues and politics.

Also dat modernizing. How do you go from medieval setting to a setting with cars and buildings, etc in a span of less than 100 years?

To be honest, the biggest thing that killed Korra was the fact that it was never supposed to be longer than 12 episodes.  Because of that, and the overall lower episode count, season 2 was practically destroyed because there wasn't enough time for it.  Like what made Air Bender so amazing was that it was an adventure.  20 some odd episodes per season, was enough to give Ang an adventure while working on developing the cast and Zuko.  Season 1 barely got by with its 12 episodes, season 2 just was rushed while telling nothing, and was also 14 episodes.  Season 3 was just as good as anything Air Bender produced though.  OMG Basil, season 3 was crazy.  When spoiler stuff happens, all bets are off.  My jaw literally dropped at one point.  I was like "WTF am I watching?".  It was the only thing the show was able to do in like 12 episodes.  I haven't finished Season 4 yet, but it looks like it suffers the same issue as season 1 and 2.  So pretty much season 1,2 and 4 needed 20 episodes to flesh things out, they never got it.  So it was just weirdly disjoint.  Korra is still good, but Air Bender is honestly the best show I've ever watched.

I think I'm on the last boss.  I never finished it though.  It was alright.

I saw some advertising on Facebook.  Outlaw Star is returning and they've been showing Stand Alone Complex on Adult Swim?

Avatar isn't really medieval.

The main series starts out with these sophisticated battle ships, gigantic drills and factories. They had tanks, submarines, airships by the end of it.
The start of the series is probably closer to 1870.   Maybe something like 1850.
Cars being common, isn't that bizarre, 70+ years after the invention of the tank.

Technology in the world is probably largely held back by bending.  People don't need to invent some fancy thing, because they can just hire someone to do something.
And probably some other aspects of religion in the world.

Additionally there was a lot of variety in the world.  The fire nation has pretty sophisticated technology, the southern water tribe was very poor and they didn't really have much.  The northern was much further along.  Earth kingdom varied from place to place.  Some places very poor, others not all that far off from the fire nation.

They were going for a Steampunk style with Korra.  It's a bit jarring at first.  You get used to it.  But I agree about Air Bender's style.  I like it better.

I hope so lol

Korra game takes place between seasons 2 and 3 apparently so I'll play it after I'm done with Season 2.

It will be my first Activision published game and 2nd platinum developed game.

Korra does get better, to be fair. I didn't think it reached the heights of Avatar though

Yeah , it is getting better. I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

I highly doubt it'll be a disaster like going from Rugrats to All Grown Up XD.
