The New Glenn rocket was to do a static fire test. Instead it blew up and destroyed the launch pad. fudge fudge fudge.

The rocket is whatever. The damage to the pad is very serious. It delays everything with the Moon program significantly. This is Blue's only pad.

So the engines destroyed something causing the whole rocket to fall down on itself, and then it explodes. And that is a fudgy explosion, not just a fireball. So bad.

But this is one of the biggest non nuclear explosions in history. Largest us rocket explosion in history.
