i don't know what critical reception will be but i expect consumer reception to be quite poor.   a lot of games are failing these days and tbh i didn't even know this was releasing soon.  there is no hype for it and over the years i've heard quite a bit of disappointment in the frachise for the last few installments.

i predict a commercial failure.   quite possibly enough to kill the studio.  post release is the best time to kill a studio afterall..

I have no idea what to expect. Would not be surprised at all if it crashes and burns, but at the same time it's a popular franchise. If they make it good enough to get journalists and players the first week to say "borderlands is back" or other stupid things like that, then the game could be successful.

Yeah a pretty tight spread. I'm a bit worried it drops below my 82 minimum though, there is still time.

Really bad steam reviews, has performance issues they say.

even after day-1 patch?  I remember chatter they promised the issues in review builds would be resolved.
