Was funny how for a while battlefield was set to kill cod. Now it feels like a has been.

It's funny how things work out.

I think Battlefield 3 gave CoD actually good competition when it came out. 

And then it felt like Battlefield fell off a cliff after that.

Battlefield 1 was a huge hit. And was absolutely amazing. 

This trailer looks great actually. Im excited to see the multiplayer

Yeah it's generic modern day military, but if they embrace that it could be pretty good.

But generic modern military is what everyone was asking for. But from the trailer it seems they are going back to destructible environments in a big way, which is again something the BF community wanted

Yeah that's what I mean. If later we find out that it's full of cosmetics and dorky stuff then that's lame.

But if the "gimmick" is that it's an earnest modern military then that'd be great.

I really hate the dorky and wacky cosmetic stuff found in games now days. 

I'm here playing BO6 with fudgy humanoid rats and turtles running around.
