here is the article era posted yesterday:
https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/nintendo-says-donkey-kong-bananzas-developer-is-the-same-team-as-super-mario-odyssey/

QuoteAlthough it did not mention them by name, this seemingly confirms Nintendo EPD Tokyo as the developer of Bananza.

The news was confirmed during a media preview event for the Switch 2 game, in which Nintendo also said the studio behind the game is "based in Tokyo".

Asked for clarification, Nintendo would not confirm whether the same staff behind Odyssey were working on DK, or if it was a new group within the same company.  Neither would it confirm the director of the game.

Dare I say maybe even 200 of them!

Spoiler for Hidden:
I almost gave Pi an opportunity to joke about factorials, that was close.<br>

I must have been busy, surprised I didn't comment on this.

That'd be a lot of Switch 2's.

per person in Japan.

You could build mansions out of that many.

Entire universes even.

(200!)!

I freaking hate that !! is not factorial twice.

And how is switch 2 still doing? Yall owners having fun still or have the launch games dried up?

I don't think I'm ever buy a Switch 2.  Everything about it; price, key cards, 100 dollar games, is just rotten.  It's like they built the thing for shareholders, which, yes, is mostly a thing, but it's exaggeratedly bad.

I didn't make up the rule. ::)

But it is kind of goofy.

Sounds like Switch 2 is still doing well mostly.

Ehh, I play here and there. I tend to pick up the PlayStation portal to play ps5 more often.

Still liking the console, I just have too much to play on PS5 right now.

my son hasn't played it in quite a while:

he's bored of mario kart world.

he dropped mario rabbids half way though.  he's was having trouble winning.   he makes lots of really obvious mistakes because he still hasn't picked up the concept of defense and you can't just run and gun the entire game.

he dropped mario wonder half way though.  platformers isn't his favorite to being with so it's not a surprise to me.

I wouldn't say we are "done" with mario party.   but that has always been an "occasional" game to infrequent play is to be expected.

the bigger surprise is i asked him which games he may want for christmas.   so far his entire list is: spiderman 2.   i expected him to want something on switch but so far he's not asking for anything.

Aren't they starting to drop the price in Europe?  I doubt they'd do that if they were hitting their sales targets.
