Guys, I think I might have a super power (vision/brain thread)

I randomly discovered binocular rivalry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binocular_rivalry

Wikipedia states it as a fact, that this is just how human brains work. Yet it doesn't trigger in me under most setups. I can just see both images.

You can also just go cross eyed.
 
 
The color will fight between your eyes, instead of you seeing a static color.

I was reminded of this, not quite the same setup. 

With my left eye, I was looking at a wall.
With my right eye, it was obscured by part of a blanket. 

(One of those half basement walls). 

With both eyes open:
I could focus through my left eye and see only the wall

I could focus through my right eye and see only the blanket. 

Or I could mix the two images and see the pattern of the blanket on the wall. Which was kind of funky.
