It's good!

not that i can't read/watch any of the reviews myself but...

...and big changes from MH world?

i liked, not loved that game.  the core gameplay of hunting monsters was pretty good.   i just found it really convoluted and confusing to figure out weapon/armor upgrades, craft food, and figure out how to join a "match" via matchmaking that was level and progression appropriate for me.  i cruded out of the game without even reaching max level just because i found it soo confusing.   also the worlds/monsters at a certain point felt a bit samey.

also the story was cliche AF.

i'm not opposed to another go but i need some assurance the experience has improved.

looks like they've "streamlined" the game and everyone is mad about it.

xD

Oops

My brother was a huge monster hunter worlds fan. I'll have to see if he's happy or mad.

Horizon

I bought worlds day one but it didn't click with me so I'll pass

Huge huge huge amount of players

1.3 million at the same time on steam, 6th highest game ever and that's just the first day.

kitler53

Thats a big number and just one platform.  Must be at least 5 million across all platforms then.

8 million is pretty good i assume.   relative to prior releases in the monster hunter franchise i mean.

not sure if i'll pick it up or not.   me and my coop buddy are getting really close to the end of BG3 and will need a new game soon.   i think split fiction will release just in time for us so maybe we'll pick this up fall-ish if nothing else better comes out for online coop.
