It's really really funny and sad.

Ever since xbox one released Microsoft has flip flopped between "we will use our money to crush PlayStation and buy exclusives" to "only losers make exclusives."



Hopefully they find a middle ground at some point.

while i do get having a dedicated thread it make finding this post more difficult:

not really interested in any of those games.  i'd likely get the MCC if the price was right just so I could participate in conversations but all of those games are pretty skippable for me.

i still need to pick up hi fi rush but what i'd personally want from xbox is:
- fable anniversary
- fable (the new one still to be released)
- forza horizon maybe.  it's probably not my thing but i'd likely give it a try.
- banjo kazooie nuts and bolts maybe.  would totally have been my thing back in the day.  did it age well?
- ori 1 and 2 (is that even applicable?  i know it didn't launch on PS but can MS even have any say over a port?)


i consulted a list of xbox games and i have to say that after 20 some years of time you'd think there was more to be excited about than this but this is everything for me.  there just isn't much to care about from xbox studios, imo.

i have mild hopes for a fable anniversary port.   i feel pretty certain now that i'll get access to fable.

i tried to get AI to generate an image of "ps5 console with cars racing on top" but the results were hilariously bad.   basically i just got wannabe gran turismo screenshots.   one even included a logo on a skyscrapper that was clearly a rip off of the GT logo.

First one it generated. I'm actually really surprised how close the PS5 is to a real PS5. It's wrong, but far from just being a generic console. It failed to make plural cars though, and it doesn't look as dynamic as I imagined.

I've gotten images generated that clearly have an artist signature on the bottom that it jumbled up in the generation process.
