it's amazing how much the number "4" kills my hype for something like this.

like, i know that more likely than not i didn't actually need to play the other games in the franchise but i don't like entering a franchise soo late.

i think that's one of the things assassin's creed, CoD, fromSoftware is doing right.   you can use the old games code but making the new game feel detached from the prior games story wise makes each game more approachable.

the "framerate" doesn't really bother me but yeah i think a lot of people are going to loathe that.   wonder if they will break down and add in a high frame rate mode.

I just don't understand the rules. Some times characters are smooth, other times they are stop motion.
