Astro Bot's UK sales (physical-only so far) aren't huge. Opening week is about a third lower than 2021's Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, but I expect a longer sales tail for Astro. It's certainly sold more copies in the UK in just 2 days than Concord sold worldwide

i dunno if this comparison is all that meaningful.  digital % just keeps going up year after year.  rift apart is like an eternity ago now.   

not saying it's a sales beast but without the digital numbers...

nobody expects this game to be front loaded, I hope. I see it eventually selling 5m+, hopefully close to 10m

Ohhhhh the way they start the credits is amazing!  Finish the game. But still have some bots and stuff to gather but not many more. It shows I'm around 15 hrs so far. Could be a tad high.

Got an email for completing astro bot.  Says I beat the main game in 11 hours.  So the tracker on ps5 is a bit higher.  But I bet I'll be 13 to 15 hours all together getting everything.

i guess i'm just really slow.   just started the 3rd area last night.   i'm probably 2 weeks from completing.   plucky squire i'll be there as soon as i can.  talos priciple 2 dlc i'm coming for you after that.   2024,.. you've been a pretty good year for me!

Astro Bot's UK launch is solid. First week sales are 21% higher than the debut of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart in 2021. Astro was No.2 last week behind Space Marine 2, which is the UK's fastest-selling Warhammer game (beating Total War: Warhammer 3). More in the next GI Microcast

I guess the leak said 4 million, but probably 5 million now.

But I think it's likely that Astro Bot will have much better legs. There's a lot more buzz about how good the game is.

I saw a bunch of YouTubers celebrating the game today.

To clarify, Astro Bot's UK sales are good. This isn't the sort-of game that would ever do mega week 1 figures. These games often sell over time.

To offer some comparison. Astro Bot's week 1 in the UK is bigger than Sonic Frontiers' and Crash 4's debut, and they're multiplatform

Platform games are my favourite genre and I bought 2 of those other games.

But if we’re focusing on just the target audience (which we should). Astro is the fastest selling original platform game outside of Mario from the last 10 years. Bigger than Sonic, Crash, Yoshi, Kirby…
