Honda supplies the car, Sony supplies the camera sensors, a lot of the electronics for entertainment, the AI.

So sony isn't making a car? It was just sony hyping up that honda will use sony tech in honda cars?

It's kind of a weird thing.

Sony and Honda have a joint company Sony Honda Mobility that is making a car.

Car is being produced by Honda at one of their plants.

The original Sony car was developed before the Honda venture. They made some agreements together to bring an electric car to market together.
