Even if that list was real, so many of those are likely to fall somewhere between redfall and starfield and not improve xbox's standing.

Hellblade 2 will likely be great. The expanded scope might make it kinda meh, or it might make it a masterpiece. Fable will probably be a 10/10 goat contented even if it sucks like the recent Forza Horizons.

The rest though, how are they different than Microsoft's last decade of games? Each one could surprise and be incredible but that doesn't seem likely. I'm hyped for Indiana Jones yet the recent movie is the ~2 biggest box office bomb of all time. Talk about an uphill battle.

i think a really great indy game could do well even if the movies bombed.  at least among old farts like myself there is still a lot of love for the franchise even if the last 2 movies sucked.    as tomb raider/uncharted has shown this type of game can be very popular.   they just need to nail it.   my biggest worry is it will be a 1st person game instead of 3rd person.   to me that would be terrible.   i know the fact that machinegames has only done 1st person games so far doesn't mean indy is 1st person but i do wonder how easy it would be to transition game types and still make a great game.
