Probably Metroid Prime (GCN game scored a 97) and Metroid Fusion (GBA game scored a 92)
Although, for some reason there is confusion about when Metroid Fusion came out, some sites say the same day (November 18th), others say it came out the day before (November 17th).  

Wiki somehow has these two sentences:

Couldn't find a single source from 2002 saying the 17th. I just went down the list of metacritic reviews, which is funny because metacritic also says the 17th.
