New one is a bit smaller so that should help but my launch ps5 only fits vertically next to the tv. Death of the omnistand is lame.

This is the part I'm most disappointed about.

The old stand was not optimal, but at least it was full of purpose!

verticle would not work out for me because then it would be partially covering my TV.     ...but the omnistand absolutely sucks in the horizontal position.   it needs to click or something so it stops falling apart at even the slightest jiggling of my stand. 

no idea of the slim fixes that but i effing hate that part of my ps5.
