Horizon FW: Seeds of Rebellion Announced

The Horizon franchise has expanded past video games to feature comics as well as an upcoming television series. In 2020, it received a board game from Steamforged Games titled Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game. Another tabletop board game from Steamforged is on the way, and this one is titled Horizon Forbidden West: Seeds of Rebellion.


Seeds of Rebellion is a prequel taking place before the events of Horizon Forbidden West but after Horizon Zero Dawn. Steamforged worked closely with Guerrilla Games to create an authentic story within the game's canon.

We don't have too many details on the gameplay just yet, although Steamforged has stated that it can be played by 1 to 4 players, and it is designed to deliver a "fully cooperative, narrative-driven tabletop experience."
