Second song didn't get better.
Perhaps you'd be a fan of Sad Song:

Or perhaps you'd like the town themes better?

Sorry

I don't love them, but they are good atmospheric songs for their levels they go with.

This is in fact the year of my childhood.

Monk making a return, Super Mario RPG making a return.

All we need now is a Jak and Daxter remaster or something.

I feel this game has like a small cult following on forums. Ever since the old days on vgchartz I've been hearing about Mario RPG.

I can't say it's the most amazing game ever, but it seems like people that like the game, absolutely love it.

There are quite a few people on VGC and Era talking about it still being their favorite game ever.

Like you said, it seems that people who liked the game absolutely loved it. And they always wanted Nintendo to explore more games like it and do more sequels.

I cant say I'm interested, but this is good news for the fans. Because if this sells well, which it most likely will, then a sequel will probably happen.

But then again with Nintendo you never know

The light that shows the transformation from the original to the new, is actually from an in-game character granting a wish.

So that's cute.

Officially pre-ordered, makes it my second game of the year.

Cool. Wonder if Nintendo was thinking through all of that or just using the same magic.

Someone recreated the trailer from the original game.

Donkey kong was on the right, not the left in Nintendo's trailer!

Fun to watch though.

This is adjacent to the game.

The SNES cartridge for this game had a CPU that was apparently similar in design to the one that drove the SNES, except it was 3x faster.

QuoteSimilar to the 5A22 CPU in the Super NES hardware, the SA1 contains a processor core based on the 65C816 with several programmable timers.[2] The SA1 does not function as a slave CPU for the 5A22; both can interrupt each other independently.

The SA1 also features a range of enhancements over the standard 65C816:

10.74 MHz clock speed, compared to the 5A22's maximum of 3.58 MHz
Faster RAM, including 2 KB of internal RAM
Memory mapping capabilities
Limited data storage and compression
New DMA modes such as bitmap to bit plane transfer
Arithmetic functions (multiplication, division, and cumulative)
Hardware timer (either as a linear 18-bit timer, or synchronised with the PPU to generate an IRQ at a specific H/V scanline location)
Built-in CIC lockout, for copy protection and regional marketing control

List of Super NES enhancement chips
