Day 1 on gamepass, but pay extra and get it 5 days early lol

Lol $35 upgrade.

Though has some season pass features.

Main show was an 8/10, maybe a 7/10. All the talk about Microsoft having a dream show was overblown. New games just looked ok and announced games just looked ok, except for maybe Fable. Sony shouldn't have a problem countering this if they do a September showcase.

Was a true 10/10 though in the modern climate. Was a fun show to watch and did a shockingly good job of focusing on 2024 games without feeling held back.

Trailers I cared about/got me interested in the game:

Reddit - Dive into anything

Some avowed reactions, guess I wasn't the only one slightly disappointed.

Yeah I can't say it was that good based off the announcements I went back and looked at. Both showcases were so overhyped. A few cool games I'll look at and then starfield being the only one I can say for sure I'm playing

Starfield looks good. Like fallout in space. Bummer they won't do a ps version

What was good about Fable? Didn't get me hyped and I liked Fable back in the day. Why the giants? No gameplay

Why does Keanu Reeves sound so weird in that introduction

Fable was great just seeing what the reboot looks like. Looks good.

And still almost nothing shown on hellblade 2. Hopefully we see more on a gameplay segment soon. I'm almost betting it gets pushed to 2025

What is there to see beyond a combat trailer?

For me anything. I want to see what else they are doing gameplay wise.  I want to see more than her just running and sneaking and throwing a spear here and there. Show me how you're gonna take what was there in the first game and make it better.  It's been 4 years since reveal and we have hardly seen anything

I'm sure it will come but having just a simple walking trailer over and over is annoying

A lot of 2024, some of which will end up in 2025

Clockwork looks good. Reminiscent of Bioshock infinite

so i watch this last night.   maybe i was just in a grumpy mood having just come home from my vacation but overall i thought it was pretty boring.   maybe not quite as bad as playstation but still boring.

...i think i just don't like "showcases" anymore.   fudge an hour of GCI game announcements.   just show me real gameplay.  out of both shows i really only liked 3 things:
1. talos principle 2 because it's talos principle 2.
2. spiderman 2
3. starfield

i don't even want to play starfield but at least they showed the game.   ...went on too long though.  i turned it off after like 10 minutes.  ffs i don't care about how much you "obsess over food".   just get to something meaningful already.   spiderman 2 was the sweet spot of showing the game without boring the game.

avowed looked surprisingly terrible.

the only other game i can remember is the clockwork one.  it totally looks like bioshock infinite and i was surprise to find out it wasn't.

anyways,.. i didn't post in any of the other "live stream" shows.   is there any must see announcements in any other showcase i would have missed this last week?   all in all it looks like nothing of value was missed by me not watching anything or even reading any news.

Final Fantasy 7 remake part 2 might be the only one you'd care about.

And starfield showed a lot of great mechanics, like sandwich piles.

where did they announce that?  seems like it should have been at sony's show.

not sure if i care about it or not.  after hating turn-based RPGs my whole childhood i've still never given any FF a try.   i think around 13 i realized that maybe i should give some of the newer games a shot but still haven't.    backlogs are soo big these days with ps+ extra.

It was in Geoff Keighley's show. Spiderman 2 was also there but only concept art and a release date.
