Finished and got the platinum.  Man it was such a good game.  I think my play time probably landed around 30ish hours for everything.  The ps5 dashboard says 44 but i'm pretty sure thats a bit high.

Yeah took me about 38 hours to platinum. Incredible game. I loved some of the side content

My brother was playing and thought it was a bit silly how strong random thugs are. Like it's spiderman, they should be out in a single button press.

What did y'all think of that?

Seemed pretty much similar to the first game.   I played on normal difficulty and didn't really find many enemies to be that strong.  The big brute thugs are definitely strong, but overall felt very much the same as previous

This is my brother's first modern spiderman game so maybe it caught him off guard.

I played Miles and in that one they had cool tech helping them so I didn't think anything of it.

I am personally disappointed that Nathan Drake doesn't die realistically when shot.
And that Sackboy is able to move at all.

why limit yourself to nathon drake?!?!  every single shooter ever made where 1 bullet doesn't kill a your target should be considered unplayable now.  CoD.  Gears.  halo.  killzone.  borderlands.  bioshock.  counter strike.  half-life.   i haven't played it yet but i'm going to assume starfield is on the list.  hundreds more really.

video games are a crime against humanity now that i think about it.

Brutes have always been a challenge. In the end game there is a brute type enemy which is perhaps the most challenging enemy outside of bosses. The gadgets and new abilities certainly help though.

This one has tech as well. I've heard some people say this one was too easy. I only just started so can't tell yet.
It's probably hard to find a balance, you don't want the game to be too easy but you do want to feel powerful as Spiderman is.
