When I started out, I was completely remote.
Then we were expected to be onsite 3 days a week.
Then we moved to 4 days onsite.
Now, we're still 4 days onsite, but our remote days get cancelled out by any PTO or holidays. Before we could take a day off, and have a remote day.
Very irritating, only got through this summer by having 2 days (remote + PTO) a week at home with the kids. Otherwise we'd be spending a lot of money on daycare.
I really think that I need to find a different job by next Summer.
A lot can change in ~9 months. I'm really not sure what to do, and how I'm going to make it.

Last post by nnodley - Today at 04:57 PMHell is Us is getting decent reviews. Mostly mixed. But sitting at 77 so far. I really liked the atmosphere and story of what I played of the demo so i'm excited to play thursday.
Reviews came out earlier than i expected since I guess the deluxe had 3 day early access.

As it stands, turning on the TV is the only way to turn on the Apple TV.
I need to stop getting the cheap remotes.

every time I use my iPad I get told that "data failed to synch with the cloud. click resume to turn it on".
I don't want to pay for iCloud. I pay Google to back up my data. I turned iCloud off stop asking.
Amazon does similar with their music service. alexa is always trying to upsell me.
f'ing hate it.
my related to your story my Samsung TV does the same. switches me from my PS5 to their shaming services if any button on the remote is touched. stupid cat sits on remotes..

A lot of people swear by them.
Our remote broke. We are really bad at taking care of our remotes.
And we have had 1 good replacement remote. All the rest have sucked.
There were a couple that were supposed to work with the Apple TV, but don't. Can't program the remote because the directional buttons are mapped the same somehow?
But for some reason, the Apple TV keeps taking over the TV.
I turn off the TV, then 15 minutes later, the Apple TV turns it on.
Was playing Dark Souls 2 on PS5, and randomly the Apple TV tells the TV to switch to it. Twice randomly like 30 minutes apart.

If other people are having the issue, okay.
Playing Dark Souls 2, got through most of the level before dying.
Attempt 2 and suddenly there is a barrier that I spend a few minutes trying to go around.
Get the barrier open with a consumable. And I spend a couple more minutes looking around to see if I've gone crazy.
