Best of luck!

Thanks!
its nothing related to the career field I'm actually interested in right now, but with out "professional" experience a lot of jobs are out of reach for me except generic entry level positions

Can anyone recommend me a good laptop (that can run games on high)? I don't want to spend too much either so the cheaper the better.

Anyway, Acer always has cheap gaming laptops but my experience with a laptop from them isn't entirely positive. That was many years ago though.

Do you have a specific price range?

Oh and also what screen resolution do you want? Me personally I don't go for anything under 1920X1080, but maybe to you it doesn't matter.

Anything up to £800 I guess. not too bothered about resolution

I think Nvidia is releasing the 970M and 980M GPU's for laptops soon so to be honest you could wait for some laptops that have those built in them. Although they will probably be expensive, however by the time they release maybe the laptops with 800M series GPU's will lower in price.

If you don't want to wait, Here are a couple laptops you can check out. The £800 figure you gave me comes out to about 1300$. Not sure if any of these websites will ship to where you live but you can just copy the name of the laptop and try to see if the retailer you buy your electronics from has it.

One of them has a GTX 860M the other has 850M, which should be good for most games nowadays. There's lots more here on this neogaf thread, http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=745783&page=28. This is where I looked for when I was purchasing a laptop. Post #1399 in the thread has a lot of good laptop suggestions in it, but like I said I don't know if any of those retailers will ship to you.

I'd recommend waiting.
GTX 900M series will probably be pretty big for laptops. Especially because of their power consumption.
