So while there's definitely an element in Bloodborne where you could argue the game makes you feel weak, but frankly if you get good at the game, it doesn't.  It's the opposite.  
The real horror in the game is the concept.  
If you get through the game and put together the pieces:

<br>The whole game is about the fear of the unknown. &nbsp;<br><br>As the player gains knowledge they are able to see these terrible things, and if they lose their knowledge, they start to become less aware of the monsters that are out there. &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;This is exemplified by the endings. &nbsp;The bad ending in the game is where the player continues on in their life losing all the knowledge about the world. &nbsp;<br><br><br>The great part of this game is the subtlety. The player only learns about these things if they seek out the knowledge themselves. <br>
