So if you guys are wondering why The Last Guardian demo during Sony's E3 conference looked like a PS3 game, well here it is:Yeah that's kinda misleading.The E3 2015 demo stage was already completed by July 2010 on PS3. They ported that to PS4 and showed it at E3. #TheLastGuardian

The gameplay from 2010 couldn't actually run in real time on PS3. What we saw at E3 will look pretty similar to the final game. The AI and similar simulations are taking a lot of power.
