Not even different colored cubes?Color is important for telling teammates and enemies appart. You might be able to manually set the color, but it won't be treated as a cosmetic.
The only cube customization I haven't ruled out is taunts. Those could work since they'd have zero impact on gameplay yet I'm not sure I could produce any worthy designs.
