It's great.

People just think it sucks because it's a weird movie.  

lol definitely not why I thought it sucked. I like weird movies.

Probably more of an age thing. All the old animated movies I can remember liking were more around the mid 2000s, like Happy Feet and Flushed Away.

If you were to watch Rango again, and still thought it was worse than Flushed Away and Happy Feet, I don't know what to tell you. 





It's a solid 7.5/10 movie. Better than Happy Feet. Not quite good enough to be a classic like Mulan, Zootopia.


I'm not sure that I liked it as much the first time. It's an ugly movie, but it's great.

Rango is such a weird movie. I saw it in theaters and thought it sucked. Everyone else also thought it sucked and I promptly forgot about it.

Yet it has had a resurgence and people act like it's good now. Was it an age thing? Young kids loved it and can now make it popular?

What? Rango was always awesome. Everyone I know who've seen it also loved it.

I don't like the face huggers running around like generic movie monsters, so hopefully that's not a sign of the whole film being generic, but it looks great!

That's a lot of blurays. I doubt I buy another till Avatar 3.

Maybe I just need to upgrade my setup and get back into it.

It's how I watch pretty much everything now.
Buy the UHD/blu-ray/DVD, load it into Plex.

Wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but I have a lot of fun with it.

I saw a different trailer in the cinema last night. Was kind of epic. Probably a must see on the big screen just like the previous movie.

Could be good. The director makes tense movies

I watched Suzume a few days ago.

I liked it more than the previous movie Weathering With You, but it was still nowhere near as good as  Your Name. Which doesn't mean a lot, as that is still one of my favorite movies ever.

All of his movies are consistently awesome to look at.

But some of the stories have issues. Like I was really enjoying Children Who Chase Lost Voices, but then it kind of felt like it fell on its face towards the end.


Suzume's story had a few issues, but for the most part I enjoyed it.

The biggest complaint that I have:
