I think all of us enjoy spellcheck in modern browsers. Google however is sending every single thing you ever type to their servers to check spelling.
What's actually annoying is that I recently noticed this and switched back to classic spellcheck. That apparently has been significantly nerfed in order to push their online service, since it misses so many words.
If you are on Chrome, right click a text box and switch off enhanced spell check. Type out some posts for a while and you'll get frustrated with how much it is missing. "amongst" isn't in their spellchecker somehow. Neither is "biome."
