good for him.  not exactly sure what his role was on the transition from killzone to horizon but that was a great transition for GG so in theory he did a good job there.

Sounds like it could be great. Shu has always been a champion of indies and Hulst seems to be really good at managing AAA teams.

I wonder if Decima is a part of this. Everyone has been switching to Unity or Unreal but their bet on a custom engine really worked well.

It's possible Shu was thinking of retiring.  For as far back as before PS VR?  This could be a good low profile job before he goes.
