Also why is this up before Ubi? :oPi wants the pre show posts!
Spoiler tags man!Sorry, didn't know that was a leak
Sorry, didn't know that was a leakActually I'm sorry!
Are they going to have a live orchestra again?I think they should mix it up again.
On graph it says 2am for UK but in New York it says 8pm. There's only 5 hours between New York and London so it should be 1am. Is graph wrong? No, you're reading it wrong. New York says 9 pm.
OH golly I just saw a gaf thread about new trademarks. Don't you dare post any without spoiler tags! There was a guy on GAF saying a credible leaker on Reddit told him that...
I Sawsomething and boo! I'm freaking hyped though!!!!! Please be real.Spoiler for Hidden:

No, you're reading it wrong. New York says 9 pm.Thanks! Scrolling across it's hard to keep track of line.
I think they should mix it up again.Yeah maybe, but the orchestra was absolutely fudgy awesome and they should do it again for sure.

OH golly I just saw a gaf thread about new trademarks. Don't you dare post any without spoiler tags!Guys, you're so late to the party. I posted this somewhere on here yesterday already. ::)

Guys, you're so late to the party. I posted this somewhere on here yesterday already. ::)Well good! I've been ignoring all playstation news for the past few days to avoid leaks.
Btw. GT will get it's trailer and "release period" unveil in the half hour before the actual show starts.
Lol there will be some crow served if this happens.Spoiler for Hidden:
Rewatching 2015 and 2016, dang last years conference was incredible, and 2015 was amazing too. Its going to be super hard for them to live up to those.Yeah I rewatched the big 3 shows from last year.
Yeah I rewatched the big 3 shows from last year.A couple of new games, and some great gameplay with release dates and it'll easily have been the best conference this year.
Sony had a lot of awesome reveals. All they need to do tonight is surprise us with release dates.
Sony is only 75 minutes on youtube. What does this mean?
A couple of new games, and some great gameplay with release dates and it'll easily have been the best conference this year.Geoff's youtube show has the post show starting 75 minutes after the conference start.
What does this mean?
Geoff's youtube show has the post show starting 75 minutes after the conference start.Ah well it was 75 minutes last year as well. Probably doing the same thing, cutting the talking and having about the same amount of game time.
Also why is this up before Ubi? :oTo make sure it doesn't get picked up!
Pi wants the pre show posts! This is a nice bonus. ;D
ARGHHHJHHwhat??
Not gonna lie, I miss the conference setup that used to be in Ps Home. Can you imagine PSVR with Home? Walking around the conference floor with VR would be sick.Dropping home was probably smart, but I really miss it.
Dropping home was probably smart, but I really miss it.I know, they dropped the ball with home. But dang was it nifty. I think with VR it can work.
I loved exploring their E3 booths in Home.

Can't be without my spam.Psh, Xev and I will spam plenty. I'm actually going to watch this one.
I'll be watching without talking.
Psh, Xev and I will spam plenty. I'm actually going to watch this one.Yep!
Ubi's conference has me pumped for this! :DYA the trademark and ubi have me ready for amazing!
Because I'm tired ;)Thats okay, you can turn in your man card after you wake up.
God of War PS4 release date leaked apparentlyDON'T POST IT ANYONE
@Legend. it would be great if you could have a stream float above the live view text during these events. Kind like our own little youtube and everyone watches the same stream.I think that'd be near impossible!
Therese no way you can just do it like a post, but the post doesn't move? Almost like a thread inside of a threadOh I could have the video easy, but I thought you wanted it to be synced so everyone was watching at the same time.
They are supposed to be having a beta this year. Maybe something for gamescom? They were supposed to be having a beta last year as well.
I told them they had to stop announcing new games until they actually release some of them #PlayStationE3

Ubisoft won E3. Let that sink in.Disagree! So no I won't!! :P
Ubisoft won E3. Let that sink in.Opinions vary. Let that sink in. Clearly, Microsoft won. How could you fail with 6 TFLOPS?
VR was a winner for me! So many games I want to play!Who do you think won? :o
Disagree! So no I won't!! :P
There's still Nintendo, hoping for a great Mario showing.Yeah I wasn't a fan. QTEs look bad too.
Also did anyone else dislike the Spiderman UI?
Who do you think won? :oEA duh!! That cringe fest was amazing. But for real Sony for sure for me. Even seeing so many new snippets of games I'm super hyped for was awesome. Even if we didn't see firm release dates which is surprisingly odd considering so many of those games this was their 2nd E3. Having them at a 3rd e3 would be weird, tbh.
Yeah I wasn't a fan. QTEs look bad too.

Well this is true but Sony failed to sell me on a lot of those games and PSVR continues not to make itself look appealing to me. No big new announcements either.Yeah but what does Ubisoft do every E3? Show things that look great to only release crud.
Every single game Ubi showed interested me and there was a couple of awesome new announcements, plus quite a few of games coming this year.
-3/10Sony are always bad with cameras. I think this was slightly worse than last year's camerawork but in previous years it was god-fudgy-awful
I have a burning rage for the camera operators and editor. Who's bright mind was it to keep showing the audience being board? Everyone else was really good with cameras and Sony managed to have one of their worst.
No big new announcements.
Lots of stuff looked great and now I'm really hyped for spiderman but man did I dislike that show.
Yeah but what does Ubisoft do every E3? Show things that look great to only release crud.Lol okay.
Who do you think won? :oTrue, they were a bit much, hope that won't be the case during the entire game.
Yeah I wasn't a fan. QTEs look bad too.
-3/10Wasn't their worst but far from the last two years. What I really don't understand is that if you had just that to show then why did you not just include Knack 2, Matterfall, and Gran Turismo Sport along with all of your smaller titles you announced in the pre-conference? Seems a little silly to me.

Now the question becomes, will Sony skip a European conference again this year and just wait until PSX? Also, will they have a decent showing at TGS? Last year Sony got away with that easy because of how awesome E3 was for them.I don't think anybody's coming back to Gamescom.
I don't think anybody's coming back to Gamescom....but... the beer... and the babies....
...but... the beer... and the babies....I don't even want to know, what you're doing with babies.

Cause Watchdogs and Division played like their first trailers showed right?Don't even get me started on The Crew and how badly Ubisoft has screwed up the last few Ghost Recon and Assassin's Creed games. Starting to think Far Cry is the only franchise they have that they've been consistent with.
Cause Watchdogs and Division played like their first trailers showed right?Doesn't mean they were crud though. They've pretty much stopped doing that now and it didn't really happen often before.
Don't even get me started on The Crew and how badly Ubisoft has screwed up the last few Ghost Recon and Assassin's Creed games. Starting to think Far Cry is the only franchise they have that they've been consistent with.Yeah I forgot to mention that Unity was released in the state it was in. But pretty much what you're saying. Far Cry and maybe Splinter Cell are the only thing they haven't screwed up.
Doesn't mean they were crud though. They've pretty much stopped doing that now and it didn't really happen often before.
Ubisoft have got so much better in the last few years, might be the best big game company out there right now

Starting to think Far Cry is the only franchise they have that they've been consistent with.I don't know if Ubisoft has gotten better and they really have nothing on Sony... No company does.
Yeah I forgot to mention that Unity was released in the state it was in. But pretty much what you're saying. Far Cry and maybe Splinter Cell are the only thing they haven't screwed up.I'd argue Splinter Cell. We're probably looking at, at least, 5 years between the last one and the next one if the rumors are true. Kind of a gap for us to judge the Ubisoft of today and their ability to maintain a franchise when it comes to that one. Not to mention, sales of the last title were way below expectations. That doesn't say anything about THAT game's quality but it does show that something went down where Ubisoft didn't convince people to buy it and people seemed to have lost interest in the franchise until lately.
I don't know if Ubisoft has gotten better and they really have nothing on Sony... No company does.Well Sony are great but so many of their first party studios are just making third person games now, and they've shut down a few studios recently. They keep announcing games too early and their studios are taking way too long. And they seem to have completely stopped supporting indies at their conferences.
Post count is way short of the microsoft thread, and that's with the cheating with all the extra hours build up :PI was completely quiet the whole time. I didn't want to miss anything and then, of course, something happened that forced me to step away anyways.
If it was actually a full length conference then it would probably have been the highest.
I could throw in a rant about Sony and release dates and split it up into like 10 posts if you want the post count to go up.Sony just announce games way too early. You could take 2 big announcements from each of the last 2 e3's that have gone absolutely nowhere and put them in this conference instead. Then you'd have 3 great shows in a row and wouldn't keep people waiting too long.
Here's just a teaser:
Who in the world thought that announcing that GT Sport, which was aleady said to launch this year, is going to launch in Fall 2017, was an announcement worth anyones time? (The trailer was pretty dope though).
Is dreams dead? Its not looking good for dreams, that's for sure.
Any hints of news coming later in the week?

Then you'd have 3 great shows in a row and wouldn't keep people waiting too long. Not all of them, but yeah, they did definitely announce a good chunk of their lineup way too early. To be somewhat positive about it, a slower year this time in terms of announcements might make for a better next couple years with games announced also actually being closer to release, since it gives them room to actually work off a couple games. Then again, I see no indication at the moment that Days Gone, Detroit, Spiderman or Dreams are going to be out before next E3 either.
Is dreams dead?Media Molecule on Twitter: "Good luck to all at #E3 this week! No E3 for us as we are busy tapping away, getting ready to share more about #DreamsPS4 later this year!" (https://twitter.com/mediamolecule/status/874447287363162112)
Any hints of news coming later in the week?
Oh also Uncharted looked great! I had no idea it was this big.Yep, Uncharted is looking great. Story could be better than Uncharted 4!
I'm loving the negative reception to the shows lack of talking. That's something that I disliked last year and I hope this makes them go back to having more fun shows.Yep. Cutting down on talking is only good to a point, and this year had even less talking.
This could have just been uploaded as a playlist on youtube.
Yep. Cutting down on talking is only good to a point, and this year had even less talking.I was shocked Aisha Tyler wasn't hosting but it definitely was an improvement! Made the show more about the devs instead of her humor.
I think Ubisoft found the perfect balance this year.
The Detroit trailer just got uploaded to Sonys official channel, the fudgy thing seriously says "In Development for PS4" at the end.Remember how I said this? (http://vizioneck.com/forum/index.php?msg=204381)
Remember how I said this? (http://vizioneck.com/forum/index.php?msg=204381)Yeah, it's freaking absurd. Like maybe there'll be more information coming from dev interviews over the week that change things, but I really don't see it.
3 of them might! :P
Remember how I said this? (http://vizioneck.com/forum/index.php?msg=204381)Gran turismo sport, Knack 2 and God of war will definitely release before next e3.
3 of them might! :P
TLOU2 could have been saved for this. Weird that it wasn't.Wasn't it supposed to be for E3 and they moved it up?
I really just think Sony hit a very particular point where their early announcements caught up to them. Like, at this particular point in time, they're not announcing much because either they need to show people games they announced but haven't shown much of or the other games they have are still a little too early to talk about. I'm thinking PSX this year is going to be what people were hoping Sony's E3 would be. That's a year since we first saw The Last of Us Part 2 and the last we saw of Death Stranding. That's 6 more months to give Sucker Punch. That's two years since the FF7 Remake was last shown in motion. More time for Japan Studio, who we know based on comments from various people at Sony has some stuff they're working on. Plus, things we don't know about just yet.Yep. Pretty much every one of their studios has something announced with a few exceptions, and it's hard to announce something new when everyone knows what you are making....
Matterfall got shafted. It's slated to release August 15, but it wasn't shown at the pre-show or the conference. It was in the pre-show.
It was in the pre-show.Oh. I missed some of the pre-show, so that explains it. It still should've gotten the conference treatment.
I'm really warming up to the show.Spider-man has become my most hyped game for next year.
God of war, spiderman, days gone, uncharted, horizon, and sotc all looked really great. Detroit looked good too.
And in case you're wondering - swinging is all physics based and the webs attach to buildings :)

People on GAF were complaining about the physics. And in case you're wondering - swinging is all physics based and the webs attach to buildings :)
— Insomniac Games (@insomniacgames) June 13, 2017
I'm probably way off base comparing a few minutes of this Insomniac Spider-Man game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODiiEj-GQgI#t=5m22s) to previous games but I don't get how Insomniac's Spider-Man swinging is looking worse than Beenox's Amazing Spider-Man (2012) swinging (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWPv7OqEXTA) or even Treyarch's Spider-Man 2 (2004) swinging (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xb8ZhKgieTw), which also had the cool wind audio.
2004(http://orig08.deviantart.net/9e6c/f/2017/164/8/a/spiderman_2_swinging_by_digi_matrix-dbcjfjc.gif)
2012(http://orig03.deviantart.net/82e5/f/2017/164/4/0/amazing_spiderman_game_swinging_by_digi_matrix-dbcjgfo.gif)
2017-8(http://orig02.deviantart.net/c5ac/f/2017/164/6/5/insomniac_spiderman_swinging_by_digi_matrix-dbcjfka.gif)
There's no wild momentum, it all seems like one speed, and so makes it feel slow to get going much like Sunset Overdrive I guess. Insomniac could have just hired Jamie Fristrom (the creator of Spiderman 2 swinging) to design the swinging gamefeel.
Maybe the swinging of this new game will look way better when it's not happening as part of a heavily QTE-based chase and instead just swinging for fun so you can see the big arcs and momentum. It's just that this presentation gave me not the best first impression, and first impressions count for a lot. I would have preferred just to see the swinging by itself first and then go into a mission like Beenox did for Amazing Spider-Man at E3 2012 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T91pixJAlm0#t=1m07s).
I'm probably alone in this worry because most people seem very positive on the new game and thought this was one of the best games shown at Sony's E3 2017 conference, so feel free to disagree.

Does anyone know, if Days Gone and/or Detroit will appear on stream in some form during E3 so we can maybe find out when we can expect these dang games?I've tried and failed to find the Live at E3 sony schedule.
I've tried and failed to find the Live at E3 sony schedule. So I'm not just to stupid to find it, good to know. Maybe they'll only show it during the stream itself, cause naturally that's the smartest and most convenient way of doing this -.-
I could actually see this coming out earlier than expected.Did you learn nothing yesterday? ::)
Did you learn nothing yesterday? ::)Well it is Bluepoint, they are good at what they are doing (even though this seems like more than they've ever done before) and Sonys remasters/remakes tend to come out a lot sooner than their new games (aren't all the remasters they announced last PSX out already for instance?). Let me keep some hope at least. :D
Sigh where to start.I completely agree with you. Knack, Ni No Kuni and Crash were all in the pre-show, as was GT Sport. They also announced quite a few new smaller games there. If you watched the pre-show before hand and took that into account as a whole 2 hour experience from Sony then it is actually a lot better.
I am REALLY ambivalent about this conference for so many reasons. I feel Sony had the two best games of the show in God Of War and Spiderman which quite frankly to me both looked absolutely incredible. I was also impressed with Days Gone,Uncharted and Horizon. Like how efficient are Guerrilla to have a new DLC out by the end of the year? Blimey. I thought all their first party games showed extremely well and looked a tier above Xbox's. The Shadow of the Colossus remake is cool I have never played it so I am interested. I am also puzzled why Knack, Ni No Kuni, Dreams, Crash etc were not included in the show as it felt very short. Also the lack of release dates was disappointing.
I cannot blame Sony for showing the same games again as they are still in the pipeline and would it make sense to show some more exclusives when some big ones are not even out yet? No, but I also think they should know by now E3 is all about the big announcements and no tease from Sucker Punch or a another project in the works was a let down. There was an air of complacency as they did not even show stuff like Battlefront 2 single player which I thought was a guarantee tbh. Could they be trying to split their content for PSX? That is a possibility and Sony attend more than one conference every year which Xbox does not for the most part.
I was also stunned by no new VR games from Santa Monica, Manchester and London studio. The VR games shown were solid but Santa Monica confirmed they had a VR project in the works and Manchester studio have been working on their game for over 2 years now.In hindsight Sony could have saved Spiderman or Days Gone for this E3 to be announced and this conference would have had a bigger impact. They had 2 amazing conferences and I know they cannot have a megaton every year but with TLOU Part 2 being announced at PSX I was sure they had a big announcement for E3 but alas they did not, maybe that should have been saved for E3.
This E3 has been underwhelming for announcements but I understand some devs are just not ready and E3 2018 will be much better when a dozen devs will be ready show their games. Despite this I think most of the games especially at Sony's and Ubisoft's have shown incredibly well.
Onto TGS and PSX.
Had SSM's new IP not been canceled they would have probably shown that off at 2 E3s as well, possibly pushing some other announcements back. And had The Order not failed, we would have probably seen a sequel at this years E3. Similar thing with Driveclub and Evolution Studios.Hmm this is true. They have been cancelling a lot of games/ closing studios recently. Not that it matters, we had an incredible first half of the year for PS exclusives and their upcoming lineup is still miles better than MS and Nintendo's offerings.
Point is that if everything had turned out according to plan then these last few E3s could have looked pretty different.
Just want to point out, don't forget that whatever first/second party revealed just now was ALL new stuff and unexpected announcement.
Those we were expecting didn't show up.
- London studios new vr game
- Manchester studios vr game(s)
- Santa Monica's vr game
- from softwares vr game
There's still a second storm incoming :)

And had The Order not failed, we would have probably seen a sequel at this years E3. Similar thing with Driveclub and Evolution Studios.I think once God Of War has been completed Santa Monica will staff up again and look at doing a new I.P. From what i saw of their I.P from the concept art there was little to no coherence in style so I can see why it would have been cancelled as it lacked direction.

Just watched the Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer and realized that Wild is another Sony game that has been missing in action for I think well over a year now.The developer posted a picture of it, 5 months ago. So it seems to be in fine shape.
I'm actually quite shocked we are getting horizon DLC so soon. That is if it's not delayedI think Guerrilla are arguably Sony's most efficiently talented developer alongside Japan Studio. They have released Killzone, Horizon and now have Horizon DLC out before the end of the year. No other Sony studio. You would not be surprised if the next Horizon is announced at E3 2019 too. And when you think about it they only worked full time on Horizon when Killzone was finished so they did Horizon in approximately 3 and a half years; it's unbelievable.

When all the other devs are slowing down, Guerrilla are keeping it up!
Quoting myself because nintendo just said baby please and proved me wrong :oWhat did Nintendo announce other than sequels that we knew were already coming and should probably be closer to release than they are?
I was actually thinking today while I was driving; God of War 3 was one of the best looking titles last gen. This new God of War makes that game look really dated now.Spoiler for Hidden:
God of war image. Kept in spoilers just in case someone is not wanting to see anything from the game before release.
Will it actually be in the game or was it just a easter egg teaser though?Spoiler for Hidden:

Not a huge number but it means their officially announced upcoming games lineup isn't blown away by Sony's anymore, its fairly comparable now.

It's really neat.Spoiler for Hidden:
God of war image. Kept in spoilers just in case someone is not wanting to see anything from the game before release.
I guess I should have asked what they announced other than Metroid and Pokemon? Like I was at work and that's all I see on the front page.. Also Sony announced a lot of games during the Pre-show....-Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)
Will it actually be in the game or was it just a easter egg teaser though?I would hope it would be essential to the story or it may be something like "he realizes he was such a monster that he is known all over"
-Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)- TLoU2
-Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch)
-Kirby (Switch)
-Yoshi (Switch)
-Mario + Rabbids Kingdom (Switch)
-Fire Emblem Warriors (Switch)
-Metroid Prime 4 (Switch)
-Next mainline Pokemon (Switch)
-Pokken Tournament DX (Switch)
-The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC (Switch + WiiU)
-Mario & Luigi Super Star Saga + Bowser's Minions (3DS)
-Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (3DS) (Pokemon direct)
-Metroid Samus Returns (3DS)
Strong line up!
- TLoU2I agree they still have an advantage but Nintendo have upped their game now and are at least comparable. Meanwhile at Microsoft....
- Days Gone
- Gow
- Detroit
- Wild
- Gran Turismo
- Dreams
- Spiderman
- Knack
- Ni Nu Kuni
- Uncharted LL
- Shadow of The colossus
- The impatient
- Death Stranding
- Final Fantasy 7 remake
- Crash Bandicoot
- Bravo Team
- Matterfall
Honestly that's all I could think of now. I know there are a lot more Japanese games that I am sure I am not aware of. And more Indie and AA games. Honestly Sony still have an advantage

I agree they still have an advantage but Nintendo have upped their game now and are at least comparable. Meanwhile at Microsoft....Yep considering the entire list is all first party titles or crossover titles with not a single third party title in sight ;D
AMerica vs japan on the stream. This is fun.me too
Edt thought this was ninty thread
The fudge are you guys smoking. Great conference.Uncharted, Horizon DLC, marketing deals for most of the big games + those two is a decent line-up for the second half of the year, considering the fantastic first half. Then 2018 is looking to be even better. Sony are in a great position right now, imo
I did go in with less hype though since I had read some of yall's reactions beforehand. But by God that GoW trailer was orgasmic. Spiderman also looked super duper hype. Days gone looks better now, seems to be coming together very nicely. Monster Hunter World didn't seem like an MMO either and looked cool.
Does Sony only have GTS and knack 2 for the latter half of the year though?
Does Sony only have GTS and knack 2 for the latter half of the year though? Also will have VizionEck ::)
Also will have VizionEck ::)::)
After watching the E3 Coliseum interview with Santa Monica for God of War, I can safely say the game is in the right hands. Cory knows what he's doing and this game is going to be fudgy amazing. Really hyped me up even more with the way he is handling the story and the game overall. The trailer was orgasmic sooo obviously
Anyone else hyped for Superhot VR? Looks aceYeah!
