Haven't played, but I think i have it. Maybe I'm just weird.Each match is ~15 hours at standard pace so you rarely finish the game feeling like you just finished setting up your empire.
Think long games+ large maps could help.
Maps can get really large too, with 12 players and 24 citystate players.
One of my favorite PC games.
