I don't really have this.  

I can't think of any games that this has happened with.  

I just started GoW 1 PS3 this year, and I was still impressed.

Time does funny things to you. Just yesterday I thought back on the demo for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic that I played on my first PC, and how incredible I remember it looking.

 Not so much now though:


 GRAW is another one. The following image I remember blowing my mind away.

 But the biggest one, is Perfect Dark Zero. I remember going to my friend's place when he had just gotten a 360, because I wanted to see what next-gen looked like. I remember it looking jaw-dropping. But now, it's one of the most uneven games graphically. It looks like if they split up the graphical duties, and only 60% of the people had time to actually complete and polish their work, while the rest got barely anywhere.

I specifically remember being amazed by some GBA SP games. Spent many a moment marveling at the graphics in an ad for it.

Yeah I remember thinking games looked amazing back then and they do not.

I still think games from like 20 years ago look good.  I see all the flaws, but I still appreciate what they did.
