its crazy how many there's been and how consistent they are. But also, Nintendo's other franchises mostly consistently fail to get up there.
Meanwhile for Sony its GT, a ND game, a God of War game or the occasional random other like LBP and Bloodborne. Slightly wider spread, but still basically only three/ four studios that manage to get up there, quite consistently.
Microsoft is, well, yeah. Most of those games were made by devs who are now off doing their own thing, and those franchises don't have a hope of being that good again. Forza is the only franchise which can realistically still make the list. Shame.
