Microsoft has discontinued all Xbox One consoles - The Verge

makes sense.   their market offerings were confusing as fudge.   this at least makes it only slightly confusing.

"To focus on production of Xbox Series X / S, we stopped production for all Xbox One consoles by the end of 2020," says Cindy Walker, senior director of Xbox console product marketing, in a statement to The Verge.

I guess I skipped over that they didn't make any Xbox Ones last year. So they stopped basically shortly after launching Xbox Series S|X.


But not surprising I guess.
