It always has!  (On a different page, had to go under your profile.)

But they added it to the home screen in a recent update.

Definitely not too accurate but MGSV is close enough to what my save file said.

technically since PS3 but it was never shown until recently.

The ones I see under each game home seems to be fairly accurate to any saves that show it as well

personally I think there is a bug that I can't prove but it goes something like the number doesn't update until the game is closed and reopened.

I've had plenty of games where I started it, played for three straight nights to be told I played for 1 hr.

also I think they always round down which may be on purpose but short games can feel inaccurate.

i don't have the baseline numbers in front of me so i can't say exactly how impressed i am but generally speaking i like the sound of triple digit growth for playstation and "...offset declines on other platforms"
