I had that happen with FF15 I think. Received the shipping notification saying it'd arrive on launch day, yet it just stayed at some random location. Eventually contacted customer support and it hadn't actually shipped at all.yeah, it was hit and miss for me. the games that shipped on time generally showed up 1-day early. i wouldn't have cared if it arrived 1 day late but i got really, really angry about pre-orders that didn't even ship until days/weeks after the release date. not sure what went wrong but i did stop pre-ordering from amazon.
i'm kinda jelly about you day-1 guys but i'm sticking to my guns on this. i'll buy early 2021 near the launch of ratchet and clank or GoW (which ever comes first). i'm still holding out some hope for a R&C or GoW special edition but that's probably a fools hope. demand will be soo high in the launch window i'm sure it's not worth sony's time to make any special editions until 2022.
