What a massive misstep on Sony's part, yikes is all I can say. I would totally love being locked into a proprietary storage solution if it meant not having to do this monumental task. Especially since I change my harddrive weekly.

Edit: good to note that the 1TB is the same price as the Series X expansion already, and that's with double the speeds. You have the option for different sizes and prices will keep dropping. This is why Sony's expansion solution is vastly superior.
