Varies by manufacturer.Right but in this case we have confusion over whether the XSX SSD is actually 1TB or not.
Some will sell the drives advertised with less space.
Some will sell a 256 GB drive as a 240 GB SSD after the provisioning. So you get the space you expect.
They state 1TB but some people are saying its 4*256GB=1099.5GB=1024GiB. aka its "actually" 1.1TB while PS5 is "actually" 825GB so XSX is a actually even bigger than we thought. I can't find any verification on whether this is true.
